Lessons Learned

 

 

  • Much has changed in CSR over the last ten years, and many companies need education to stay informed on new innovative approaches.

 

  • There is a need for a general CSR toolkit that includes best practices, research on the evolution of CSR and how it is applied in the 21st century, and recommendations for companies to implement to be a competitive and responsible business today.

 

  • When persuading companies to adopt innovative approaches to CSR, examples of best practices in their industry or from nationally recognized CSR leaders are key.

 

  • Companies improve their competitiveness with a CSR program by attracting potential employees (especially Millennials) and improving relations with the public and community stakeholders.
