Diane Huggins | LifePoint Hospitals

Diane Huggins has served as Vice President, Communications, for LifePoint Hospitals since joining the company in 2008.  Huggins is responsible for overseeing the company’s communications strategy, including company positioning and media relations, employee communications and cultural programs, and communications related to key initiatives and mergers and acquisitions.

Penny Brake | LifePoint Hospitals

 

VP, Finance

 

Penny joined the Company as a founding employee in April 1999 serving as Director of Finance. Previously, she served as Treasury Operations Manager with HCA. Penny provides direction for the organization in the areas of finance, treasury, cash management, banking relationships, and investor relations. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the TN Chapter of the ALS Association.

Michelle Augusty | LifePoint Hospitals

 

Director, Communications

 

Michelle Augusty is Director, Communications, for LifePoint Hospitals. In this role, she supports the vice president of communications and is responsible for internal communications strategy, public relations and media relations support for the company and its hospitals, and the coordination of communications related to strategic company initiatives and the acquisition of new hospitals.

Nicole Cottrill | DVL Seigenthaler

 

Partner, Business Development

 

Nicole conceives and directs strategic communications plans and media relations programs on behalf of SPR’s clients. She has a well-established reputation as an expert on healthcare and science industry issues and trends. Trained as an analyst and researcher, she provides SPR’s clients with unparalleled expertise in these areas, as well as in crisis communications, media relations, corporate partnership and sponsorship development, coalition building and policy analysis.

Cheri Sanders | The ALS Association, TN Chapter

 

Executive Director

 

Cheri joined the ALS Association Tennessee Chapter as the Executive Director in September, 2008. She has worked in the Nashville nonprofit sector for over 30 years concentrating in leadership and development positions. Other nonprofit organizations she has worked for include: Easter Seals, American Lung Association, American Diabetes Association, and The Alzheimer’s Association.

Linda Peek Schacht | Andrew's Institute for Civic Leadership

 

Executive Director

 

Founding Director of the institute is Linda Peek Schacht, veteran of the Carter White House and U.S. Senate leadership staff, a member of the launch team of USA Today, former vice president for global communication and public affairs strategy for the Coca-Cola Company and, just prior to joining Lipscomb University, a senior fellow at the Center for Public Leadership and the Center for Business and Government of Harvard University.

Benja Whitelaw | The Community Foundation of Middle TN

 

Program Manager

 

Benja works with The Foundation’s donors and staff members to ensure needs are being met. She works closely with Foundation management on the development of policies, procedures and organizational duties. Benja also manages the LifeCare Recovery Relief Fund for LifePoint Hospitals.
